What Internet have made for us

I’m not asking question to people I’m meeting for the first time anymore.
It’s not that I’m selfish, egocentrated or not interested in other people life, it’s just that I’m googling everyone I’m about to met. So I know where they are coming fom, what they like, dislike, what they are listening to, what they want to become, etc.
What is left to discussion when I finally meet the person ?

Before
I was asking people around me how to go to a certain place, a restaurant, etc.
Now
I just pull my iPhone out of my pocket and look at what’s Around Me with my fingertips on a cold screen.
—
Before
The teacher was transmitting knowledge thanks to the interest of the pupils.
Now
I check on Wikipedia to verified if my teachers is not saying some wrong things to correct him if needed.
—
Before
I was surprised when a girl told me during the first rendez-vous that she is loving Duran Duran.
Now
I have listened to all her music taste on her Spotify playlists, just to be in the same mood to make sure this lady will ended up in my bed.
—
Before
I was always wondering if the girl in the office next to me was engaged in an relationship.
Now
I can check it on her Facebook profile and learn that she sadly turns lesbo.
Is that not exactly the purpose of the human race from the very start of humanity ? Being perfectly independant in anything, being omniscient without having to be –redevable– to anyone ?
And you, what Internet have made for you ?
